Consultations

We offer a full service for your sick or healthy pet through our consultations. Consultations are by appointment, though we will see genuine emergencies as soon as possible and fit urgent cases in as needed. Most consultations are 10 minutes long although for referral cases, euthanasia, full health checks and other individual cases, an appointment may be made for 20 minutes or longer. Some cases are more complicated than others and we will take all the time that is needed for each animal. This may mean we are running late, so please forgive us. We will always let you know the reason if your appointment is running late.

We also run nurse appointments for dental checks, weight loss clinics, flea and worm advice, dressing changes and other more unusual reasons. Consultation times are available throughout the day and into the evening. We also run a surgery on saturday morning. A current price list is available for our consultation prices, although medicines and treatment will be in addition to this.

Like all vets we run a 24 hour emergency service, 365 days a year. This is for genuine emergencies only please, other calls after hours may block an emergency call from getting through. Just ring our usual number and the answerphone will tell you the number to ring, so have a pencil and paper available. Urgent but non-emergency cases over a weekend may be fitted into our "unofficial" weekend clinics, usually held mid-morning and early evening on a Sunday.
