Emergencies
Emergencies are bound to happen to our pets and because of that, Pennine Vets runs our own emergency service. Simply call our usual number at any time, including bank holidays and if we are not open, you will get our answerphone message. This message will tell you when we are next open and give you the number of the emergency vet. This is one of our own vets and you will be seen at either the surgery in Tottington or Harwood. We do not use an outside emergency service as we feel it is important for our clients to see their usual vets at these traumatic times.
Please do not phone us with routine enquiries out of hours as you may stop an emergency call getting through. This web site should be able to answer most queries and we are open throughout the day (8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays).
There is an extra charge for out of hours emergencies cases but this reflects the extra time often needed and the call out.
