Referrals

We accept referrals for all exotic pets from birds to reptiles, rabbits to fish. We are committed to providing the best quality service possible and our vets undergo continuing training. Ian Mostyn holds the RCVS Certificate in Zoological Medicine, an expert qualification organised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Only approx. 30 vets in the UK hold this qualification and it signifies a high level of expertise with exotic animals. Gillian Mostyn is also working towards this qualification as part of our committment to provide the highest quality care.

To arrange your referral, you must get your vet to contact us first so that we can deal with them to get the full history for your pet. This is not just polite and a courtesy to them but also ensures that no treatments or tests are duplicated unnecesarily. After the treatment course has finished, we will write to your vet with a full update and any follow up treatment that can be carried out by them.
