X-Rays (Radiography)
We have a modern x-ray machine capable of taking x-rays of animals from as small as a budgie to a large dog. An x-ray is basically an internal photograph of your pet and shows all the bones very clearly. Other tissue, such as the heart and liver, show up differently allowing the vet to see if anything is out of place or too large / small. An x-ray is a very useful tool for diagnosing many problems but is vital for any broken bones and if your pet has swallowed anything such as stones or small toys.
